Carmel and Fishers Homeowners: Jazz Up Your Exterior!
- Before

Small changes that enhance curb appeal will swiftly pay for themselves, by creating a quicker sale. Statistics show us that the faster the sale, the more money the seller puts in his or her pocket. Why? Motivated buyers are more concerned about other buyers when a well-priced property is first listed. If the home shows well and your price is right, the home has a great chance to sell quickly.
So consider a home facelift for less than $5,000.
Custom Cedar shutters $1500.
Six Decorative Corbels on front porch $40 = $240.
Fiber Cement Cedar Shake board on home front $500-$750.
Home Exterior Painting $2,000.

Great idea, John. There are definitely some inexpensive ways to dress up the exterior like this. I’d like to mention a great vendor in this regard – Cumberland Woodcraft (http://www.cumberland Woodcraft.com).
They have been in business since the seventies and have real people that you can call to get advice from – they just aren’t a web store someone runs from the basement of their home. They have a real woodworking and carving shop as well as a web based store. They were even involved with a project on This Old House one season.
Excellent people over there and they give individual attention for large and small orders. They do business all over the USA and even a little international. They know what they are doing.
